Several times a year, a large trade fair or medical congress brings tens of thousands of delegates to Amsterdam at once. Hotels fill, prices rise, and the city's business districts are busy from breakfast until late at night. For a delegate with a full agenda, the days are long and mostly spent standing or sitting in the wrong kind of chair. A conference week outcall massage is one of the few things that fits into that schedule without requiring you to go anywhere. This article explains how to plan it.

Big conference weeks count as peak dates

The largest conference weeks are treated as peak dates. Every booking during them is confirmed by a 50% deposit, including same-day sessions from returning clients. The deposit is paid by card, Revolut, Wise or crypto and on cancellation is kept or returned according to your notice. If you are not sure whether your event counts, ask in the thread and the reply will say. In practice, many delegates book a day or two ahead once they know which evening is free, and a booking more than 24 hours ahead carries a deposit in any case.

Conference week outcall massage: reading the agenda

A conference programme has natural gaps. Look for them before you book:

  • The evening with no dinner. Most delegates have one or two evenings without an organised meal or client dinner. That is the obvious slot for a longer session.
  • After the closing drinks. Receptions usually end by nine or ten. A booking for an hour later leaves time to get back and shower.
  • The last evening. After the final day, with no early start the following morning, many delegates choose a longer booking.

Avoid booking straight after a long dinner with wine if you have a presentation the next morning. An hour at ten in the evening, followed by sleep, is usually wiser than two hours at midnight.

Hotels, business flats and further out

During big conference weeks, delegates end up in every kind of accommodation. Some are in large hotels near the convention venues, others in furnished business apartments, short-let flats in the residential districts or hotels further from the centre. Every address inside the ring is covered with no travel charge, and a central address is reached forty to sixty minutes after confirmation. Areas beyond the ring, such as Buitenveldert or the airport hotels, are arranged individually in the thread. Business flats with a daytime concierge have their own visitor rules, so check them before choosing the hour.

Working around colleagues

Delegates often travel with colleagues and sometimes share accommodation. The room you book for must be yours alone for the session, with a door that closes. In a hotel that is simple. In a shared business flat, choose a time when colleagues are out, or book only if you have a private bedroom with its own door. Use your personal phone for the thread and your own card or account for the deposit, and keep both apart from anything your company issues or can see.

Choosing the length

A delegate's body after a day on a trade floor needs different things from a tourist's after a day of walking. Tired feet and a stiff neck from hours of looking at screens are common. One hour suits a working night; ninety minutes suits the evening with nothing after it. Longer bookings of three hours or more, and overnights, are always confirmed by a deposit, and fit the final night most naturally. The business trip page covers regular bookings for longer stays.

The practical preparation

Take off the conference lanyard and put it away with the badge. Hang the suit so it is not on the chair next to the bed. Shower, drink water rather than another glass from the minibar, and turn the room temperature up a little. Put your laptop away and silence work notifications for the hour. Keep your personal phone on sound for the arrival text. The therapist brings linen, towels and oils; you provide the room and the time.

Figures and payment

A conference week leaves the rates for a single client with one therapist untouched, from one hour to the overnight. On a peak date, half is paid when the booking is confirmed and the balance is settled at the door in cash, by card or in crypto. The confirmation in the thread states the exact total, the deposit and the balance, so the only thing left to plan is the gap in the agenda.

BOOKING LINE

Send an address
and an hour.

Two lines are enough: where you are, and when you would like someone there. We answer with a name, an arrival window and a total. If the hour is awkward we say so rather than guess.
