Not every flat in this city has a double bed with space around it. People sleep on sofa beds in studios, on futons in rooms rented for a month, on a mattress on the floor in the week after moving in. An outcall massage without a proper bed is a perfectly workable booking in almost every one of those cases. What changes is a sentence in the booking message and, sometimes, which format suits the surface best.
Here is how each common arrangement behaves.
What a surface actually needs
Three qualities matter. Firmness, so the person working is not fighting a sagging middle. Access, meaning room to stand or kneel along at least one long side. And stability: nothing that folds, rolls or slides when weight shifts.
Height matters less than people assume. A high bed suits standing work, a low one suits kneeling, and therapists do both. Her own sheet goes over whatever you have, so the fabric underneath is not a concern either.
Sofa beds
The most common alternative, and usually fine. Open it fully rather than working on the sofa as a sofa; the seat cushions shift and the backrest takes away the access you need.
Two things to check before the confirmation rather than after. First, the bar. Many fold-out mechanisms have a metal crossbar under the thin mattress, and it sits exactly where a hip or shoulder lands. A folded duvet laid over that section solves it. Second, the frame. Older sofa beds can creak loudly or partly fold back under shifting weight. If yours does either, the floor is the better choice.
Futons and floor mattresses
Better than they sound. A futon or a firm mattress on the floor is stable, does not creak, and gives all-round access. The therapist kneels rather than stands, which suits several formats well.
Clear the floor around it, since everything within arm's reach of a low mattress ends up in the way: phone chargers, a glass of water, the book you were reading. Check the floor is warm, too. A mattress on cold floorboards in a ground-floor flat loses heat from beneath, so turn the heating up earlier than you would for a raised bed.
Narrow singles and bunks
A single bed against a wall is workable if the open side has clear floor. Mention that it is a single, because it affects how some formats run.
Bunk beds, found in some rental flats sold as sleeping four, do not work. The bottom bunk has no headroom and the top has no access. Use the floor with a duvet laid down, or a sofa bed if there is one.
Air mattresses and lofts
An inflatable mattress is the one surface that fails nearly every test. It bounces, it shifts, and oil on vinyl slides. If that is what the flat offers, a thick duvet folded on a rug is a better base.
Sleeping lofts reached by a ladder are similar: no room to kneel up there. The apartment preparation checklist explains how a session moves down to the main room in that case.
Outcall massage without a proper bed: which formats suit
Bed-based formats that start and finish in one place adapt to almost any stable surface. A sensual or erotic oil session works on a futon as well as on a hotel mattress.
Formats built on full-length contact prefer firmness. Body to body massage on a firm floor mattress is often more comfortable than on a soft sprung bed. Nuru, which uses a waterproof sheet and a lot of gel, sits well on a floor or a futon for the same reason, as long as the surface around it can take a wipe.
One format depends on the bathroom rather than the bed. Soapy massage needs a bath or a proper shower, and no sleeping arrangement changes that answer.
Just moved in
An empty flat with a mattress, a lamp and working heating has everything required. No furniture, no curtains yet, boxes in the corner: none of it stops a booking. The only item worth solving is the curtains, if the room faces the street. A sheet hung over the window rail does the job for a night.
The broader point, made in what your room needs, holds here too. Nothing has to be bought or arranged. It only has to be described.
The line to add to your message
One sentence, placed after the address and the time. "Sofa bed, opened." "Futon on the floor, bedroom." "Single bed against the wall." "No bed yet, mattress on floor."
If the surface sits in a room other than the bedroom, add that as well, since it changes where the heating needs to go first.
That line lets the therapist picture the room before she arrives, and occasionally it shapes which format is suggested. It costs nothing, the rate stays EUR 180 an hour, and it saves two minutes of discovery at the start of the booking you paid for.
